Mt. Sinai Walks

The 1 to 3 day walks follow an unused old path, with even more sights on the longer hikes, according to your pace and time available. Mt. Katherine Add-On
An optional, 5 to 7 hours
hike, which can be included in the 2 and 3 days long walks, or done on an additional day. Mt. Katherine is the highest peak of Egypt and in clear weather you can see the sea on both sides of the Sinai peninsula. There are magnificent views in all weather conditions to Mt. Sinai, your next destination, and the whole high mountain range. There is a small Orthodox church on the top, dedicated to Saint Katherine. The hike is not difficult, although long and steep, and definitely worth the effort. |
